The Gulf Coast Women’s Center For Nonviolence will host a walk on Saturday, May 17th,  at 11am in Bay St. Louis.  The event, initiated by members of the Hancock County domestic abuse survivors support group, is entitled “HOPE (Hang On, Pain Ends)” and is meant to raise awareness and support for survivors of abuse.

The walk will begin at the foot of the Bay St. Louis bridge, on the Hancock County side.  All are welcome to participate, and registration is free.  Participants may walk the entire bridge or only half (or whatever distance is comfortable.)  This is a non-competitive walk;  men, women, children, or parents with strollers are encouraged to participate.
